Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work with my car?

It only works if your vehicle has factory-wired CarPlay or Android Auto. It won’t enable wireless on systems that are already wireless or lack wired support.

How can I check if my car supports wired CarPlay/Android Auto?

Three methods:

Plug in your iPhone/Android with a USB cable and see if CarPlay/Android Auto activates.
Look for the CarPlay/Android Auto icon on the infotainment screen.
Check online if your car model supports it

How do I install and connect the adapter?

Plug the adapter into your car’s USB port.
On your phone, enable Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi, then pair with the adapter.
CarPlay/Android Auto connects via Wi‑Fi, with Bluetooth used only for the initial authentication

Does it interfere with backup cameras or sound?

No. The adapter only handles infotainment data and doesn’t impact backup cameras or other car electronics.

Dead easy

Dead easy to set up and works a treat!

Great Product - Great Service!

I needed this item last minute - so I reached out to the vision guys on their WhatsApp link (on their website) and they were very quick and responsive, and even offered an upgraded delivery option when I expressed how quickly I needed the item.

It was also one of if not the most competitively priced retailers of this item online.

The item arrived the next day and worked perfectly. Would definitely use Vision again!

Works as advertised!

Shipping was extremely quick and the product took all of about 30 seconds to get working. So far working a treat and connecting every time I get in the car! A no brainer upgrade.

Worked straight away

Great little device. Worked quickly and now connects my android phone to the car with Android Auto. No messing with cables.

Absolutely great.
SD card delivered within 2 days, instructions so easy to follow and set up in no time. Makes so much difference.
I would recommend this to anyone.

Works well

I’d had previous bad experience with a Carlinkit product so I was a bit sceptical initially. Took 2 minutes to set up and seems to work perfectly. Hopefully that will continue.
