Activation requirements
Email order
- A Windows PC. Macs are not supported.
- A spare SD card or USB drive that fits your Audi, minimum 4GB, max 32GB. Anything larger than 32GB will not work.
If you have a USB drive instead of an SD card, make sure it fits both your Audi and your computer. Check your connector type: USB-A or USB-C.
SD card order
You’ll receive a pre-loaded SD card through the post. Make sure your Audi has an SD card slot; if it only has USB, choose Email and use a USB drive. Follow the included instructions to complete installation.
Delivery and returns
Sent as a sealed SD card, ready to insert.
Posted orders are dispatched within 1 working day by tracked FedEx and usually arrive 4–6 working days after dispatch. The shipping cost is shown at checkout.
VAT and import duties are included in the price, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. Posted orders are sold and shipped by Global-e, our international partner.
Each activation is single use and gives a one-time lifetime activation on the head unit it is applied to, so it cannot be reused or returned once supplied.

By ordering you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once you unseal the SD card.
This does not affect your statutory rights: what we supply must be as described and fit for purpose, and if it is not we will repair, replace or refund it.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need any upgrades?
Apple CarPlay is already wireless with this activation. Android Auto is wired; if you’d like it wireless too, add the Carlinkit Mini Ultra 3 wireless adapter.
My headunit software version doesn't begin with MH2p
Unfortunately, we can only support head units running MH2p software versions. If your version begins with MHI2, your Audi has MIB2 instead: see our Audi activations for the A3, Q2, A4, A5, Q5, Q7, A6, A7 and TT. If it begins with MHI3 or MPR3, your Audi has MIB3: see the Audi MIB3 activation.
Do you offer map updates?
We do not currently support map updates, however, we recommend navigation via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto using Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.
