*Important note
Early models from 2015/2016 require additional programming to properly enable Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This makes it a 2-step process. This 2nd programming step is independent of this activation.
Compatibility
Compatible with Skoda vehicles manufactured 2015-2020 with MIB2 headunits.
Step 1
Check your headunit software version as follows:
- Hold the MENU button for 3 seconds
- Select Software update/versions
- Installed SW Train Version
Step 2
Make a note of your Installed SW Train Version. Examples below, but not limited to:
- MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0245T
- MST2_EU_SK_PQ_P0359T
Step 3
If your headunit begins with MST2 and has 2 SD card slots labelled SD1 and SD2, it's compatible!
Step 4
For software versions ending with P02xxT (where x is any digit), an extra programming step is required which needs a separate device to fully enable Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It essentially becomes a 2-step activation process - use our software first then use an OBD2 programming tool such as OBDEleven to complete the 2nd part.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Email and SD card?
Your order data for your Installed SW Train Version will be delivered via email within 1 working day. Instructions are included. You will need your own Windows device + spare SD card (between 8-32GB) to carry out the installation. No Macs allowed.
SD card
You will receive a pre-loaded SD card via the post, plus instructions. No Windows device necessary. Choose this option if you have a Mac for example. This is also the easiest option as it will essentially be plug-and-play.
My version ends in P02xxT. What extra step is required?
Step 1
Install the software to enable the services on the headunit.
Step 2
Using a device known as OBDEleven, make some coding changes to display the activated services (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto).
Note
The instructions sent with the software details the coding changes required. Step 2 is the customer's responsibility and is independent of the activation.
Do I need any upgrades?
It’s entirely your choice, but we highly recommend the Carlinkit Mini Ultra wireless adapter for the best experience. Factory systems only support wired connections—this adapter seamlessly converts it to wireless, giving you hassle-free access every time you start your car.
I only have slot SD1, will this work for me?
In most cases, this product is not suitable for your vehicle. Due to technical reasons, we are unable to support this type of headunit.
Do you offer map updates?
We do not currently support map updates, however, we recommend navigation via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto using Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.
