Compatible with Audi vehicles manufactured 2020-2024 with MIB3 headunits. 

Checking your software version via the engineering menu

  • Turn on the ignition and allow the infotainment system to fully load
  • Touch and hold the top-right corner of the screen with two fingers for around 3 seconds
  • If the engineering menu opens, look for Version information or Software version
  • Your release version will usually begin with MHI3 or MPR3

Please note

  • This menu is not available on every vehicle or software version
  • On some newer updates, the shortcut may be disabled
  • If the engineering menu does not open, please check the normal MMI Settings → Version information screen instead

How does this remote activation work?

For Audi vehicles with MHI3/MPR3 infotainment, you need the following equipment for us to carry out the activation remotely:

  • Windows laptop
  • Ethernet port: can be built-in to the laptop or you may use an adapter if needed.
  • ENET cable
  • Teamviewer software

Upon purchase, we will send you a pre-setup guide to help you prepare for the remote activation session.
