It only works if your vehicle has factory-wired CarPlay or Android Auto. It won’t enable wireless on systems that are already wireless or lack wired support.

How can I check if my car supports wired CarPlay/Android Auto?

Three methods:

Plug in your iPhone/Android with a USB cable and see if CarPlay/Android Auto activates.
Look for the CarPlay/Android Auto icon on the infotainment screen.

How do I install and connect the adapter?

Mini 5 Pro

I bought this along with an Audi Q7 activation. I first activated CarPlay then I connected wirelessly using this device. Everything works perfectly. Very happy.

Hardly mini

Ordered this along with car play upgrade, saw a picture of a true mini adaptor (ultra) ordered this one however too tall for space so ordered wrong one, although was the recommended one from supplier
