*Important note
Early models (2015/2016) are a 2-step process and require additional programming to fully enable Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on the headunit. This is independent of this activation.
Compatibility
Compatible with SEAT vehicles manufactured 2015-2020 with MIB2 headunits.
Step 1
Check your headunit software version as follows:
- Hold the MENU button for 3 seconds
- Select Software update/versions
- Installed SW Train Version
Step 2
Make a note of your Installed SW Train Version. Examples below, but not limited to:
- MST2_EU_SE_PQ_P0363T
- MST2_EU_SE_ZR_P0468T
Step 3
If your headunit begins with MST2 and has 2 SD card slots labelled SD1 and SD2, it's compatible!
Step 4
If your car model is 2015 or 2016, check if your USB socket is compatible with Apple CarPlay here. Skip this step if you have dual USB ports.
Important
If you version ends in P02xxT, you will need additional programming via OBDEleven device to display the activated functions (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto)

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Email and SD card?
Your order data for your Installed SW Train Version will be delivered via email within 1 working day. Instructions are included. You will need your own Windows device + spare SD card (between 8-32GB) to carry out the installation. No Macs allowed.
SD card
You will receive a pre-loaded SD card via the post, plus instructions. No Windows device necessary. Choose this option if you have a Mac for example. This is also the easiest option as it will essentially be plug-and-play.
Do I need any upgrades?
It’s entirely your choice, but we highly recommend the Carlinkit Mini Ultra wireless adapter for the best experience. Factory systems only support wired connections—this adapter seamlessly converts it to wireless, giving you hassle-free access every time you start your car.
My car model is 2015/2016. Do I need a new USB socket?

My version ends in P02xxT. What extra step is required?
Step 1
Install the software to enable the services on the headunit.
Step 2
Using a device known as OBDEleven, make some coding changes to display the activated services (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto). You will also need the replacement part number 5G0035222E to allow CarPlay to function.
Note
The instructions sent with the software details the coding changes required. Step 2 is the customer's responsibility and is independent of the activation.
I only have slot SD1, will this work for me?
In most cases, this product is not suitable for your vehicle. Due to technical reasons, we are unable to support this type of headunit.
Do you offer map updates?
We do not currently support map updates, however, we recommend navigation via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto using Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.
